Katie is a born and raised Midwesterner but has established roots in Alaska for over a decade now. She is a nurse leader by trade, but an outdoorswoman by heart. Her passion is exploring the natural beauty this world has to offer. With a deep commitment to leading others, she brings the same enthusiasm to her adventures in nature, whether hiking through lush forests, kayaking on serene lakes, or camping under the stars.

In addition to her nursing career, Katie is an avid (hobby) photographer, capturing the breathtaking landscapes and intimate moments of her outdoor experiences.
